I get what yall mean but self control is a choice and a trait, some people are better at it than others not because they just “choose” to. Its like telling an alcoholic to just stop drinking. I’m not excusing any behavior, but you can’t ignore some people are better at it than others due to habit, parental upbringing and environment. It needs to be regularly exercised and not everyone practices it enough, but its not just a choice its a trait that can influence how difficult choice is
