If the men who can’t get laid stopped caring about getting laid and withdrew from dating, sex, and romance forever. Would we notice that on a societal level anywhere else? What would it look like?

I think society would step a foot in the better direction. Equating dating and romance with the ability to have sex is a detrimental way of thinking irregardless of gender and I find it annoying when I encountered men like this while I was dating. AFAIK many women thinking the same.

Maybe you’d see more isolation but also more happy singles. Forever would be a stretch but having contentment could lead in a positive direction. As there’s less desire for sex that leads to misogyny

If men that thought like this withdrew for the dating pool completely, i think some women would be disappointed (lots of people seek out sex and not relationships) but a lot of other women would come out of the woodworks and start dating more men since they wouldn’t have to deal with this useless ideal.

I think you’re misunderstanding my question. People who aren’t getting laid clearly also aren’t in relationships they’d otherwise want to be in. I think you’re trying to have a different discussion from the one we’re currently having.

Is more happy sexless singles a positive outcome?

Possibly because it would erase a lot of viewpoints that ppl’s lives are valued in how much sex they are having. When that’s an unhealthy view of sex in of itself

Well, then you can’t shit on them or tell them that there’s something wrong with them because they’re not having sex or in relationship relationships despite previously wanting to. Is that a fair deal?

Yeah because you asked if I did it passively. And I said no. So what introspection is needed for you trying to make bold and false assumptions about a person you do not know and generalize them. You just proved my point that instead of listening to introspect from women they generalize and complain instead

You said there’s no we so what introspection is needed from women. Women didn’t do anything to those men so what reflection is needed. Reflection for having the right to reject sex from men? Because if they do not care if the man has sex, and you have multiple women saying it’ll be better because there’s less value being dependent on sex, what part are you still mad about and how is that womens problem to fix. It’s always the women needing to fix your introspection

No, the reflection is about whether or not you’re shitting on people for not having sex passively. Something you didn’t even take two seconds to think about.

You didn’t even think about the ways that you could’ve been. Views you hold about men aren’t very successful successfully or romantically. Clearly you hold negative views because you immediately assumed that people that struggle romantically and sexually are inherently misogynistic. You need to think about that for more than two seconds.

The reason you would lie in this conversation is to virtue-signal to make yourself look better to other people who can see this conversation. Also You’re oversimplifying what this would actually look like in real life. You could be discriminated in many different ways like when you date people who haven’t been romantically or sexually successful….or you might have those kinds of conversations with your friends, or be complicit in them.

but it is entitled. You can have romantic relationships without getting laid. No one HAS to engage in partnered desire with you, and if you think so you are simply entitled. If you can’t get laid, you don’t have to withdraw from the dating scene.
