No. but also I think itd be too easy for kids to attempt to steal relatives' ID to get verified... or expand the fake ID market the next logical step is to implement fingerprint readers!

Not a chance. It’s not the governments responsibility to parent people’s kids. There are parental control applications for phones and computers. That’s all they really need. This whole thing is just a bullshit justification to tighten control over people who are unhappy with their governments. Children don’t actually have anything to do with it. It’s just because conservatives fucking suck and hate free speech.

Some websites that use ID verification like for example certain websites where you sign up for financial accounts, will require you to take a selfie with your photo ID in order to prove that it’s you instead of somebody else
