I feel like when talking about guys “men” is just more causal than saying “boys” (seems childish) but when we talk about ourselves, “girls” is more casual and not childish because hanging with the “girls” is common lingo, and “women” is too formal imo

I do this unintentionally, I call men men, dudes, guys, etc and women women, ladies, girls, etc because tbh feel like I gotta mix it up or a sound boring. Nothing else to it
