1) they absorbed it from parents or surrounding culture and just keep perpetuating it without thinking (it might feel so normal to them that they don’t realize it’s sexism) 2) in some cases, a woman wants to gain approval by people/groups she sees as an authority, so she takes on the role of a traditional woman or anti-feminist hero in order to seem special or valuable
