you might be overestimating how many people use that app. also if you openly admit to being like overly aggressive in approaching women, that seems like the more reasonable cause of people avoiding you...

I was 20 and I didn’t know any better. After she posted the DMs on twitter and I was harassed, I committed to never do that again. This was why before I approached in person.
