I want to get back into the friendship field. Like the dating field, but with friends. I’ve just been alone with no one to talk to or hang out with. Any tips on how to do that? I feel like I’ve forgotten hot to 😂 M20

Takes a big ask but I think you gotta send it. Personally I join clubs and try to work a side hustle with people my age then hit up people who match my vibes. My best friend atm just hit me up after run club and was like “hey we should hang out sometime” which I think was sick cause I was too nervous to ask

Check your local library for events for your age demographic. Your town may also have a Facebook page for events or some such thing. That’s the best way I’ve found to find events outside of college.

Idk how to just join a club. I live in a smaller town so idk where to start with something like that. And at the job I have, I am either working alone, or with guys over twice my age. I’d like to have a community of guys or girls around my age

See yeah that’s so fucking tough. I’m still in grad school so I’m able to do stuff like that but out of school it’s much harder. Lowkey might be worth a move at some point. When I leave grad school I’m gonna try to find a decent sized city with a young population to try to remedy this cause it’s a problem. You can hop on census.gov to see what any city’s population demographic looks like tho

Does your town have people around your age or is it one of those towns that’s mostly kids, parents, and retired people?
