Yeah, I feel like I strike the balance of “show I have interests outside of our convo and Im high value enough to have other things going in my life” while also saying “hey talking to you was like coolest thing tonight”

i see i see, lowkey, i think the good inbetween balance is certainly waiting a few hours, messaging her “hey,” and then wait till she says hey back, and then saying that last part you said

That might work. Im better at initiating and keeping small talk going from the ground up than I am at maintaining it, I feel like, but I’ve been told my biggest strength is that Im very interested in hearing other people’s experiences. Like, I can naturally get a guy on a plane to share his life aspirations and hobbies with me and feel like lifelong friends, yet I struggle at getting a goddamn date.
