Hey gals! Does anyone else have issues with stomach sensitivity when on their period, if so what helps you guys??

I don’t even get periods and I have stomach sensitivity. I don’t drink soda but carbonation helps me. I’ll drink a ginger beer or something like that

Consuming lots of protein, bland foods, fruit and herbal teas. Less fried, processed, overly sweet foods.

I used to get no appetite when on my period and I’d eat suuuuper slowly. Like, eating a blueberry in multiple bites slowly. I was not getting enough food for a week out of every month and that’s part of the reason I’m on birth control now (problem gone!)

Literally!!! The only thing that hasn’t made me feel like garbage the past few days is really basic chicken breast and steamed broccoli 😅

Do you like seafood? Fish is heart healthy and can be prepared so many ways with some light spices. It’s filling but light so you don’t feel like a whale after eating it

Not crazy about it… but I just don’t think I’ve had good seafood. I’m from the middle of OK so not much exposure to it lol

I’m on birth control too! I literally had 2 slices of toast ( bread I made myself ) and I feel all blaahhhhhh

Oh damn true. I sometimes forget that good seafood is just a normal thing on the coast but maybe not as popular in the middle of the county

For me my go to “feeling gross” food is fruit. Sometimes it’s all i can convince myself to eat but it depends on what’s making me feel off
