I’ve lost friend groups because of false accusations. To call it cowardly for being cautious of losing people you’ve been friends with for a long time seems wrong.

Talking to the wrong guy. Best friends sister and I had a little entanglement. Blew up significantly. Eventually she and I sat down and hashed it out. Sounds like you had crummy friends
