my friend recently came up to me and said she had sexual fantasies abt me and asked if I was ok/not ok with her privately thinking abt me that way. she said she didn’t want to date or have sex or anything, so I said I was fine with it. is that normal 😭

my reasoning’s that anyone can privately think about me any way they want w/o me knowing, so that doesn’t really discomfort me to know for certain someone’s doing it. if anything, I’m glad I don’t have to worry abt our friendship getting ruined by her asking me out—I’m not into women.

and she could’ve had those fantasies w/o telling me, but she cared enough abt my opinion to ask me for consent on smth others normally wouldn’t. that takes vulnerability so I respect her a lot for that. how would y’all have reacted? idk if my view of this whole thing is weird… I’m still kind of figuring out what I think tbh 😭

ftr I’m used to having people of any gender be into me, and I’ve lost a few friendships because of it. so idk if I’m just desensitized to people thinking abt me sexually, or if my reaction makes sense
