just rq think what kind of date, ex. if you are meeting at a restaurant you don't want flowers sitting in a car/next to the table for 2-3 hours. But if you're picking her up and can easily put them in water then it's a great idea, you can even go to trader joe's which has great flowers for pretty cheap, they have pre made bouquets or you can make your own

Flowers are completely optional and are nice. If you find it important enough to get your first date flowers I think a cheap bouquet would be appropriate

Lilies are gorgeous and get a bouquet with other flowers in it. It doesn’t have to be huge just a simple bouquet
