You’re so close in age that I don’t think it’s creepy at all to have those feelings come up. However, not acting on it is the right move.

Yes I’d say it’s creepy JUST because she’s an employee. If you don’t act on it or even let her know it can be okay.

My friend is dating her manager and they met on the job. As someone who doesn’t really trust men, when I first met him I told her “usually all your past boyfriends have given me weird vibes.. but I really like this one!”… that says A LOT coming from me. I’d say don’t make a move though, *unless* you KNOW it’s reciprocated and you both are mature enough to be professional about it (regardless if it worked out or ended badly).

As long as you don’t abuse your power in a creepy manner you’re fine. Managers and employees date all the time. It’s when they basically when a manager uses their power to get the employee it becomes a problem.
