my bf and i were both talking to a few people when we first started talking but then as we got more serious about it we kinda narrowed it down ourselves. then when we started officially dating we just brought up to people that we have a significant other now. there was one girl though (he thought she was just a friend) who caused a lot of drama and required entire explanations as to why he wasn’t currently dating her 💀 after that we posted each other and that alerted any stragglers lol
