I means they aren’t reading your profile honestly 💀 most people don’t actually read through things thoroughly on dating apps

I’ve had the same experience but backwards. Some people just don’t fully read profiles. I’d go as far as to say most people don’t read profiles.

If you’ve had it backwards, that’s not the explanation I don’t think. As a guy, the more intuitive one is that someone who wants to fuck you, won’t see it as a problem that you happen to ALSO be looking for your soulmate. That’s just not his concern. Of course, you may not care to waste your time with rando’s in the meantime, but that’s fairly rare. & it’s well worth a swipe right so that if you DO hook up sometimes, he has a chance to be that rando. Miss 100% of shots you don’t take, after all

No it’s the same problem. I distinctly say I am not looking for hookups. I don’t swipe on anyone who has any sort of “short term fun” or anything like that in their bio. I am only looking for long term relationships with someone who shares end goals as me. These men matched with me, not have anything in their bio but long term relationships goals and then will ask for causal sex. It happened so often I got off apps.

The only explanation is they aren’t reading my bio. Because if they were they would know not to waste a like on me. Or they’d have it in their bios.
