How you dress is how the world gonna see you. If I’m wearing ripped shirt and got a nappy head you think I’m a be taken seriously ? Like I said ain’t nun wrong wearing a crop top. But wearing a skirt 2 sizes too small or string crops are too far. Especially as people of color our parents taught us that straight outta the womb. if i see somebody in a small skirt i see a person in a small skirt. i don't make assumptions about their character because i was taught (by MY black family) not to judge a book by it's cover. i've also learned in my career that some of the ppl who influence national politics and economics (therefore taken very seriously) dress like they were born in a shelter 🤷🏽‍♀️
