no. we went to school together and it was kinda obvious we both liked each other. he also got explicit confirmation that i liked him from our mutual friends so ig that gave him the courage to ask me out lol. i have also gone out with more quiet guys that i met on dating apps.

i knew they were quiet when i went on dates with them… the guy i went to school with did work, the rest idk there were a bunch of reasons unrelated. i never said i prefer them i just said i have dated them
