Men can cause yeast infections along with other things. You can try monistat or a boric acid depository if you need quick relief. Just don’t get the 1 day one I’d get the 5 day

Hey, I’m a pharm tech. There are things you can buy over the counter that some doctors even prescribe and my pharmacist recommends, like AZO. Same ingredients as some of the stuff from behind the counter. 👍and for pain like some ibuprofen four hundred should be enough

additionally, men don’t cause it right? I’ve heard it can be from stress or tight fitting clothes but i fear i come from a household where talking about anything related to it is taboo. i am so embarrassed to even ask

Take probiotics at the same time so you don’t fuck it up more any probiotic will do

They can but there’s so many other reasons. Go to a drug store and get the over the counter treatments for it.

Plenty of ways to get them, and they don’t have to happen just downstairs either. If you’ve got a larger chest or are just a chubbier person in general then you can get yeast infections if you don’t keep yourself dry enough. They just happen and there’s nothing to be ashamed of, there’s some sort of otc cream you can rub on the infected area as well as keeping it dry and wired out for a bit. You’re gonna be ok :)

Don’t double up on the ibuprofen, give it a minute to work or get a fast acting pain killer cause ibuprofen isn’t recommended for long term use

okay noted. I honestly was going to take ibuprofen bc my wisdom tooth hurts and that’s a separate problem. would it just be best to wait until i get monistat?

So I did a bit more research for you cause I wanted to make sure I recommended the right one. So AZO treats inflammation and pain, just symptoms of UTIs or VYIs but monistat will kill the fungus so that’s great. So yeah if you’re not taking the AZO I would recommend taking ibuprofen. And did you get a prescription for ibuprofen? Cause normally after wisdom teeth removal people get like 600mg tabs

No take it immediately after you’re done it won’t work if you’re still treating it

Of course, I was embarrassed and terrified when I got my first yeast infection. I hadn’t been off having sex or doing anything illicit I just wasn’t drying well enough lol. Good luck 🫂

No you can still take it, just follow the directions on the bottle and if you feel that isn’t working well enough then try a fast acting pain reliever👍👍I hope it works and you feel better🫶
