What do you mean actually dating?? Isn’t fwb is quite literally the opposite of dating? You need to go look over what these terms mean ‘cause I don’t think you’re clear on them. How old are you? But most people wouldn’t suggest being a fwb with someone you care about, that doesn’t make sense. Fwb is a secure hook up, no feelings. It wouldn’t be smart to try something like that with someone who’s a “good friend, you’re attracted to, and respect” according to your own description.
