I think you’re being purposefully dense. Wasting my time, for ME personally not the girl you’re asking about, is asking me out because I’m not interested. It also doesn’t matter if you’re non threatening. Ted Bundy was considered attractive, upper middle class and non-threatening. Still a serial killer. What else do you need clarification on?

True crime terrifies me, I choose to ignore it, but I am informed. I read the news. Women die more and more by the day. How am I supposed to know you’re non threatening? I’m providing a rebuttal and you’ve neither the facts nor even a statement to prove me wrong. Just say you asked us if she was looking at you up and down because you wanted her to be interested in you.

In 2023, violence against women reached an all time high globally. In 2024, it was reported that a woman died every ten minutes. There are at least 200,000 missing women in the US today alone. The increase I am referring to is an increase of violence against women in the past five years and an increase of violence in my area specifically.

You’re correct that it has to do with increased misogyny, but unfortunately, although it’s driven by the right wing the increase isn’t limited to republican eras. I’d also encourage you to vote more responsibly in the future, as you should in fact, care about other people’s lives and take action to ensure their wellbeing when it’s in your power to do so.

No, not really. If you think everyone is that selfish you’re sorely mistaken. It’s really odd and sad to me that so many people have such a myopic view. Just because YOU choose to vote selfishly doesn’t mean the rest of the world does. All telling yourself otherwise does is let you pretend to yourself that you aren’t making the morally lazy choice. Voting for a woman’s right to her own body takes nothing from you. Like I said, you really should channel some empathy.
