I’d tell them to give it back or cut them off if they didn’t. It’s both a breach of trust and privacy but also it’s not purely victimless, insurance is finicky and also rate will go up because of this.

It would have to be someone I really trust. If I trust you enough, I might laugh about it and high five you for your ingenuity. If I don’t trust you enough, I might stop trusting you altogether and cut you off. Please give a heads up first either way. You don’t know what kinds of booby traps I set up.
