If I told a dude I wanted to take it slowly and he got all upset and took it personally, I would take it as a red flag and probably stop talking/dating. If she can’t handle boundaries, she’s not worth your time.

Like #3 said, consent is not just for women. If she doesn’t respect your boundaries, that is absolutely a problem with her and a red flag. If you don’t want to do it, it’s not true consent, a lie at best. Don’t do it, man.
