There’s a whole woke campaign boycotting them for their views and what not. Just one of the many companies/products on the shit list for some reason or another. Not saying it’s not justified, just stating why they feel you’d need to justify you spending money at Starbucks.

I don’t patronize them bc companies suck all over the US and other countries rn I personally haven’t seen anything it’s not pushed to me on any social medias. If it’s the same as years before and been debunked or just a location specific thing then maybe it’s different for others. Ppl still get paid below 10 an hour in my state

Again I’m not saying it’s unjustified to boycott them. The whole boycotting/cancel culture is considered woke by the majority. Not saying it’s a good or bad thing, I was just explaining to #1 why they’re having to justify them spending money at Starbucks.

I still haven’t seen anything about it to justify them tbh and I don’t live in a Union state anyway so labor laws are violated a lot of the time for a lot of companies outside of them and no one cares

Like again ppl in my state are still making less then $10 an hour at some franchises or get laid off for very dumb reasons while heavily overworked. Starbucks is prob the least of my state’s issues

well your state definitely does have unions in it, you may be confusing the meaning of a right to work state. but that’s why they’re being boycotted since they intimidate their employees and won’t bargain with those trying to unionize

my state’s minimum wage is $7.25, while it’s not an issue personal to you it is illegal for starbucks to union bust and to violate labor laws. it’s important to those being affected by their practices even if it’s not important to you

I never said it’s important I’m saying it’s not nationwide enough to notice since it’s been years since that woke statement got debunked. My state is still paying the minimum 7.25 an hour. Sometimes lower, with no bonus or tips. I’m not saying it’s not wrong or right to care, but their company is the least of the nations issues if ppl still support apple, Sony, Target and many other companies

Girl respectfully im sure its definitely a thing in your state. Further, just because it isnt a priority if the nation doesnt mean its not important, in your case extra important, because of the low wage to consider.
