I think putting it all on men is a bit weird to me also think you can be attracted to your friend and have the self control not to only view them that way. It’s natural to become attracted to a cool person you hang around but that doesn’t mean you have to try to pursue something especially if it breaks their boundaries

You also must consider emotional vs sexual attractions. Emotional attractions are natural regardless of gender and can result in a deep friendship. Sexual attractions are way harder to maintain a friendship with as you’ll always be wanting that from that person.

I agree with this in general, however I do understand those who say it’s difficult or impossible(including my mother). I have had female friends my entire life but I’m also nb and bi so my experiences are different than a man or woman.
