By being against those industries you are not standing in solidarity with them. You are precluding yourself from imagining how things could be different and more equitable in a tangible way. You cannot support marginalized communities by being opposed to how they choose or need to live their lives. Facilitating change is much more effective through empathy and empowerment

I do support sweatshop workers in fact with my community organizing we have adopted several models inspired by bangladesh fiber artist movements. Similarly i support collective organization of sex workers
