i work with young cattle. the answer is yellow dial soap before infection. afterwards look into antibacterial and antifungal creams over the counter. if it doesn't get any better within a week or two then you unfortunately do need to see a doctor

i dont have health insurance 😅 plus i know there is stuff that works non prescribed, im just not sure exactly what
