depends on how long, but having a flat out conversation is the best way, it might not seem sexy but its mature and a good way to have an unclouded conversation in a low pressure way (rather than for example asking during a makeout session). Even better if ur really worried about it you can do it towards the end of a hangout so she can leave if she is uncomfortable without ending your day earlier than anticipated
