There’s actually a poll on ask men where dark brown and black came out on top but it’s because blondes are seen as being skankier, more chaotic, and less common as a feature. Some men just like blondes and if they say that. They prob mean white blondes.

I don’t think being brunette is a big deal but also from experience… going and maintaining fake blonde from dark hair is muchh more of a hassle than just “bleaching and dying your hair” as if it’s nothing. Time consuming, EXPENSIVE, maintenance, roots, if you try to do or fix it yourself prepare for a yellow orange and white breaking off hot mess

i don’t see being blonde as a big deal at all, i’m brunette and dye my hair even darker but yes lots of women already do dye their hair lighter, but i think the upkeep is pretty expensive

Yeah I’m sure you understand in a different but similar way, and how nice it is for me to just avoid all that when I realized I actually personally prefer my hair the way it is. But it can be worth it for the people who have the time and money and love the results. DIY tho..
