when they express genuine interest in my life/ interests and ask engaging questions. when they notice small details about me or compliment niche things. when they speak kindly about others or express passions for helping others or making a positive difference in the world

When he has genuine female friendships that aren’t for sex or a potential relationship. Also empathy. For people ofc, but especially animals.

I mean I get that, but it’s hard to make a positive first impression. Like I would love to complement something niche but I don’t want it to be like “how long was this guy staring at me when he noticed _____” ya know?
