Yes… but mine cheated on me and dumped me after I was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had to put down my childhood dog… not even Satan itself would have been so heartless…

So my ex and I dated for 3 years. We didn’t end on good terms, the break up was nasty and he put his hands on me for the first time ever. The last thing he said to me was “f you” until a little over a year later when he apologized. It really meant a lot because he was my first love, we had been through so much together etc. So yes, I would apologize because all I wanted was an apology from him and when I finally got it I instantly felt like I had closure and that I could finally start to heal.
