Apart from you mentioning height and race I don’t think that matters at least. But being genuine and reading cues helps. Trying to make me laugh also gets me

i’m a woman, but when i am flirting with men or women it’s always kinda endearing when you can tell they are nervous. so don’t let that scare you it’s cute! it shows interest. so just talk like a normal person and if you are nervous that’s okay

At least to me flirting will come naturally if the vibes are right! Instead of focusing on flirting just try to focus on sparking a conversation and this could be about legit anything!

You could always just start with a compliment like hey you have a really pretty smile I'm (blah blah blah) and see where it goes and if it's awkward and bad vibes then you can skate away

That’s kinda what my bf did. Came over and said hi, then nothing. Blank pause, fled the scene. Then later, he sat next to me in class. We had some fairly normal conversations walking back from class. I don’t remember those too well, but we both formed sentences about random things.

Also it’s possibly a sign of honesty, if someone is clearly not masking their feelings (whether by choice or by inability to mask).
