It could be a cop out, and it can also not be a cop out at the same time. Depends on the maturity of your partner to be honest. Hell, I think my sister deserves better than who she is dating right now 😂😂 and this guy has been around for 3 fucking years. One thing is certain, people date who they think they deserve. And what most likely happens (if it isn’t a cop out) is that the person gains back their self esteem and no longer feels like you fulfill that need.
