So I was telling my mom about something that happened with my boyfriend and now she’s starting to get a bad feeling about my boyfriend. What do I do with that intuition?

When everyone around you seems to have an issue with your partner, usually there’s a good reason. Unless your mom is abusive/dysfunctional, she probably made observations but doesn’t want to push you away by telling you.

When I broke up with my bf, all my friends basically said ‘thank god’. And they LIKED him. Im not saying break up, but I am saying to realistically think about how long this is likely to last, and if you want that

At least, that was my experience with my ex. I broke up with him, then the truth came out. My best friend, former roommate, and even my professor all agreed that I deserved better.
