Ok y’all i never do makeup but for my chappel concert I wanted to try some out. Im testing out what I wanna do. Any thoughts, tips, ideas?? I literally never do makeup and I have no idea what I’m doing more pics in the commentshonestly super good all things considered! for tweaks (if you want, if not, def feel free to omit): your skin is already smooth and quite beautiful, but to brighten and even tone, i recommend finding a primer with apricot or yellow to soften a bit of the redness without washing out your tan. i'd fill in the brows a bit at least in the front so add more structure around the eyes but i do like the shape of your natural brows, i think they compliment your eyes well! you have a beautiful eye shape,
rather than lining the whole eye i would probs do a very thin line on the top lid with a small wing like in the pic, or if you want a dramatic look i think a bat wing or something similar would look great. where i put the red, i rec a dark pink/pinkish brown eyeshadow. it creates that dramatic shadow without being as harsh. for the bottom, i'd do a small thin line starting from around the middle of the eye and deviate slightly from the curve to create a somewhat straight line to open up the eye
pink eyeshadow can be tricky to balance pigment and visual effect, you can use eye primer or what i usually do (against proper advice buut, its just what i like bc i've never been able to stand the feeling of any eye primer for some reason) is put down a light pinkish brown, near nude colour and get more and more concentrated/bolder in colors the closer i get to the middle. i like 3ce for base shadows and girlcrush and kaleidos for bright/glittery shadows. also, i feel like brown mascara (and
maybe also brown eyeliner) would compliment your eye and hair colour well. you have very soft, beautiful features that are well suited to it. for blush i like to do a LITTLE bit of a bubblegum pink blush on the cheek (green), apricot blush where the purple is, and a deeper, cherry/brownish blush (i like the one from missrose) on the outskirts of the face where the orange is. i just did one side but mirror it on both except for the nose, just a tiny bit on the nose tip
i typically add blush as one of the last steps though, to avoid having it get washed out by the contour. also i forgot, but a bit of the apricot blush on the chin too. for contour, your features are quite defined as is so i honestly wouldn't do a whole lot in that area. where it's the half circles, rather than applying in a sweeping 'C', do a tiny bit at a time sweeping horizontally outwards away from the nose bridge to blend it more easily. straight lines, you can follow but a tiny bit at a tim
