I know, I’m very much clinically depressed and we both go to notoriously rigorous schools, so I get her. That’s almost moreso why I want to know what’s up with her more often. I want to know she’s ok

She goes to MIT and I got to the University of Chicago. Early in MIT tbf is all pass fail so it’s not sooooo brutal, but she’s an athlete too so a lot of work. UChicsgo is just A LOT of work in general.

But she’s my sister and my favorite person yk. I have no doubt that she likes me any less or anything, but she’s the person I miss the most from all this distance. I just wish she would be more involved in my life, especially since post graduation I intend to work here for at least a couple years, so I will likely be away for a while

Have you told her that you’re thinking about her and hoping she’s ok? If she’s anything like me I’m much more likely to reply to something like that sooner than later instead of small talk

No that’s fair that’s never been our dynamic. She never checked in on me either, even though she knows I go to therapy and whatnot. I tend to talk about these things more with friends than family I guess, but it might be worth a try
