No one is going to seat you and prepare meals for you 10 minutes before close unless they are a fast food restaurant and even then you gotta hope your food is fresh

Its also a courtesy thing, the moment a place closes doesn't mean everyone gets to go home immediately, theres still another 30 minutes to an hour to clean and prep for opening
