because women often take systemic injustice and apply it to an individual level and men often are ignorant as they benefit from the systemic oppression of women. thus, people who don’t take the time to actually understand the rhetoric of feminism take things personally and fight amongst themselves. or something like that, i don’t actually know i just like to hang out with my dog these days bc people are scary

The system has been catered to men for centuries. A lot of men don’t even see women as people. Religion has spoken down on women and created a narrative. Men have looked down on women and anything feminine. Times are changing but it’s still rough for us honestly

it’s so sad when this happens to women. my big sister is “anti feminist” and pro life. any time we’re talking about it and i bring up evidence or examples, she’s suddenly done with the convo. i think it probably hurts to admit that you’ve been suffering. it fills her with sadness to acknowledge. maybe it’s easier to completely ignore than to deal with it? idk all i know is my heart aches for her
