Does sex ever actually get as good as people hype it up to be? I feel like it’s ok but not that great.

Sex also means different things to different people. The most obvious place this is seen is the vast difference in pleasure that women versus men receive from penetration. Most people consider penetration to be all that “sex” is. Personally I think so much more of sex is about physical connection in every way. The way two people are drawn to each other and able to make each other feel good is what sex should be about (in my opinion). If sex doesn’t feel good, there’s something to examine.

Hi OP, a distinction should be made because some that say is good is simply just a ballon pop. Sex can be intense long pleasure but that requires foreplay or keeping the partner on edge that heightened the senses. All that is like learning to dance with the partner that takes time and skill and the ballon pop is fast and easy but very short. So a lot of sex is really a ballon pop. The guy has to learn how to last and then both need to learn to synch. It is a skill.

Additionally, I’d like to add it’s not exclusively on the guy to know how to have sex (or using the dance metaphor, to lead), but in order to “dance” both people need to know how to do it. Sex is about communication of each other’s wants. A man doesn’t NEED to last long for it to be fun for everybody.
