skin makeup is harder to tell for me bc i use it less often but i always know when my mascara is expired bc my eyes will start burning and tearing up partway through the day😭 but tbh if u notice that again it’s definitely a sign u might want to look into a replacement, whether that’s the same one or a different one

So there are expiration dates on makeup. But my rule is when things were discolored or feel differently on the skin then it used to.

I always throw out if it smells different or has changed the way it works on my skin. Liquid products fade faster than powders
