You created a whole life inside of you, there’s absolutely no shame in gaining weight when it was there to protect her and keep her safe

Whenever I feel bad about my body I try to stand in front of a mirror naked and try to find anything about my body I like, like I might feel bad about my thighs but damn it do I have a cute smile :) things like that

Two kids deep and I’m still fat. But you know what. I’m still someone’s preferred body type babe 😘 However I felt a little more like myself when I would get a good shower, style my hair, and wear clothes that not only fit, but also something that secured my stomach. Since you’re only six weeks postpartum, just careful with how tight it is if you chose this

It took 9 months to make her, you should expect that it’ll take at least 9 months for your body to bounce back. Give it time

when I had terrible acne I took pictures every day to help visualize the change! It can be hard to notice slow progress so taking pictures and watching my improvement did wonders for me :)

yes, and ur probably still feeding her (obviously idk ur exact situation) and ur body is still healing. i’ve never given birth but what i always try to focus on when im feeling bad abt my body is capability based goals (ie how good of a pace can i get on the elliptical, how long can i do a plank for, etc) rather than cosmetic goals, bc i have to accept that my body will change and i want it to serve me well for as long as possible. i try to do fun things like dancing too!

and right now as ur body is healing u have to be kind to urself. not only for urself, but to teach that to ur daughter. a huge congrats to u, a kid is no small feat!

Hey man, I’m a female fitness trainer too and I get wanting to help, but when they ask specifically on “ask women” they’re looking for the advice of other women. Whether or not you think that’s right is irrelevant, don’t give unsolicited advice
