Honestly? There’s no real advice for this. Approach someone you think is attractive, try and ask your friends to set you up

Not everyone on dating apps only want to hook up. I would say just try the apps..you never know if your person is on there if you don’t try!

In terms of being physically present in your perception of reality, sure, but the expectation is a lack of continuous contact after the hookup…which is the opposite of what OP wants, which is a ‘real’ commitment to building a relationship
