People like to make generalized opinions based on their biased lived experiences. If I made those about the women in my hometown it would be; All women do is smoke ice steal and neglect their babies It would be immature and egocentric for me to think that women are like that everywhere though

I think the only generalization we can make about all men in the States is that they will fall victim to upholding patriarchy and contributing to the violence against women, either indirectly (laughing at a rape joke), or directly at least once in their lives. That doesn’t make them evil per se, but it does make it hard to connect. (This doesn’t excuse women from also upholding the patriarchy because we absolutely do even accidentally)
