What to do when your bf is constantly tearing you down behind jokes? Then acts like I’m overreacting for getting hurt. Most of his jokes include making fun of me, my body or just straight up taking jabs at me. Last hangout he made a joke that I didn’t 1/2

break up with him. you should never feel like your partner is bullying you.

Doesn't sound like it's worth trying to fix things. Cause why continue to be around someone who constantly tears you down?

Sorry hun not worth it. He does not like you and is trying to play it off. You’re worth more than you think.

Deserve him then followed up with a joke later that day that he was settling. I’ve literally questioned his attraction towards me because of his “jokes” so the settling joke really made me insecure. To clarify, I already broke up with him due to this but we’re still in contact. Just need advice on whether it’s worth it to fix things or get away from him.

I guess he’s very loving & supportive too so it just really confuses me when he does that. Just wondering if anyone thinks I’m overreacting by breaking up.

Absolutely not over reacting. No one should be putting down the person they love like that- or at all.

get away from him. if he’s making those jokes in front of you who knows what he says when you’re not around. your partner should cherish and respect you, not embarrass and demean you like that.
