My boyfriend and I are long distance, and on nights we say we are gonna call he always winds up then going to do something with his friends and I either call him at 2am or just the next day (if he doesnt make another plan) pt 2 in comments

You deserve to have a partner who will put you first. Not everyone can honor every commitment 100% of the time, but they should certainly come as close as they can, and it sounds like he isn't trying very hard.

2. but he says he feels bad and I believe him, but it hurts it really does, and he is the one driving people to these like bonfires or parties and so he cant just leave and so i sit in my room and cry and I just dont know why I feel so horrible about this. This weekend he was also supposed to come and visit me, but canceled the day before. Im so confused and hurt and I dont know what to do

That’s sad that he’s not prioritizing you… I’d understand if once or twice something came up, and he learned from it each time and didn’t get in the same situation again. But this sounds like he just isn’t making any sort of plan to keep his word. Especially when he canceled an in person visit too.

It’s not necessarily an issue to have a girl best friend, it’s just that taken all together it doesn’t seem like a good situation where he puts you first

It might not be anything you did or didn’t do. And even if he felt like something had changed between you, he should be grown and being it up, not just deprioritize you.

yeah, frankly its not my biggest concern i trust him in that really deeply, but it is something to think abouf, he has a lot of female friends, but hes also from like a really small remote town so its not like there is a huge pool
