I am overall having an okay time with dating as a guy, but I’ve had like 2-3 people give excuses about work/school and then never reach out again, and just hate another when the date was literally planned for tomorrow morning. And I was extra excited from what we had talked about and how she looks, I just would love some direct honesty more than anything

In the future, if you get one of these texts, just say “thanks for letting me know, let me know if you’d be interested in rescheduling.” If the answer is no or you don’t get one at all, there’s your answer. Or you reschedule. End of problem!! This is an issue for both genders, and I think younger adults in general. To be fair though, I don’t think it’s about interest, I think school/work/sickness/emergencies are just easier than saying you’re tired, making other plans, or broke LMAO

The last date I was reaffirming the time a couple hours before and he basically was like oh nevermind I need to get school work done and I have a big project due and thought I’d have more done.. and this was a Friday or Saturday night hour or two thing
