I wouldn't recommend getting an IUD for like, a single instance of wanting to have sex. if you have a long term partner and don't like condoms or if you want to be safer in your general sexual activities with or without a steady partner, IUDs are great. for a one off, you're not going to beat just using a condom.

I’ve had three IUD inserts all lasted 5years I love it I haven’t had my period in about 12 years !! No side effects I say get it before they ban it

hey girl i have the arm implant. i had a lot of spotting at first but i haven't had a period in over a year and never need to think about it and it lasts 5 years. there can be complications with copper iud and i've heard it's recommended of you've already been pregnant. just another option if you're looking! 10/10 recommend

I don’t have an iud, as my mom had a horror story & it scarred me, but I have the arm implant, have only had it for about few months & don’t even notice it. Before I had the implant- I solely relied on condoms (for years) & never had an issue. Whatever you do, as long as you feel comfortable, that’s all that matters 🥰

I have an iud and love it, but it’s hormonal and not copper. I don’t remember why but the copper ones scared me for some reason. Also, I’m very much not a large person and I’m fine
