 i j got into a new relationship after 3 years of being single. i was hesitant to say yes to this guy bc of how much i love being single, value my independence+ freedom. i feel like im a little out of practice romantically too.. any advice on settling in?

Always choose vulnerability, and “I feel…” statements. Don’t let resentment build up, address patterns as they emerge when they emerge. I’m happy for you.

we’re huge on communication, i guess i haven’t thought much about his love language tho that’s a good one. we had a long talk about what being in a relationship would look like for us, i should have asked him how he prefers to receive love
