Nobody wants their LOVE LETTER of all things put on blast in the group chat, so I would assume it was shortly after those were invented/popularized Standardization is a handy safeguard against that kind of thing lol

Idk why you were downvoted this is absolutely a big part of it too, as communication increases shaming increases as well. As shaming increases, anxiety increases, and as anxiety increases grand, risky gestures decrease. It’s very easy logic tbh

Who fucking cares.. it shows that you care enough about someone in order to write a letter, don’t do it for some random that would want to clown you but for someone you see as more and they as well. If you have anxiety about writing a letter for someone you love for them to expose it, do they love you
