I don’t think he was intending it to sound rude I think he was saying in general if you get accepted or not but I’d hope he’d be more supportive 😭

He’s under the impression that getting accepted is unlikely or unfeasible. What he doesn’t understand is that even if you don’t get accepted to a particular school there’s always dozens of other schools that will approve you. So he’s just bein a downer
