I briefly saw my ex on campus I knew it was him walking behind me. I was shaking the rest of the way when I took a different path. This is so bad every time I think I see him my heart races. (I can't face him bro someone help me) how do I get better?

best way to get over a man is get under another. In all seriousness though, ask yourself what makes you so nervous about him. Was it the relationship, the breakup? It sounds like you’re suffering from extreme anxiety. Also how long ago did you guys date?

*for context he was my first bf, and I'm just nervous to see him or even interact with him. I've never been this anxious about anything like this before and don't know how to handle it.*

it’ll suck, but honestly go up and try to talk to him. exposure therapy really works, show yourself there’s nothing THAT scary about him. unless he did something really bad that made you feel unsafe or too uncomfortable to do so, facing it will make it feel less and less scary each time

We dated for over a year and a half and the relationship ended a month ago over summer. We just got back to uni. Idk what makes me so nervous…when I think about it idk why I shake so bad. I could barely hold my water bottle. The thing is the relationship was actually pretty good. The break up ofc sucked, and he did avoid me over calls and text before he did.

you sound like you have anxiety and maybe are having a panic attack. not sure what he did to you or what your past is but if you can go to therapy, otherwise just think like this, so what if you see him, so what if he sees you, you arent together and he doesn’t mattwr

He didn’t do anything that why I’m confused on why I’m so nervous? But yes I will be going to talk to someone, and yes I know it doesn’t matter.

this is awful but its worse when they were great and theres nothing to hate them for, youll have to just figure out how to make like more fun than when you were with him
